We are a Presbyterian Church (USA) Congregation, a protestant Christian church in the Reformed tradition with a big heart for everyone in our community and world.  Please get to know us as we introduce ourselves as the leaders of MPC.

Ruling Elders:  A Ministry of Service

Sharon Miller

I am the Elder of Christian Education.  I coordinate the Nursery, Sunday School, youth group and adult Education.  Many individuals help make this a thriving ministry.  My hope is that every person at our church can come to know the deep, wonderful and empowering love of God.

Stacy Mahloch

I am the Elder of Mission.  My hope is to have our congregation get more involved in helping out in our community.  There are several service projects such as Loaves and Fishes food distribution that are wonderful opportunities for the whole family to help.  When we are serving others, we are serving Jesus.

Pete Ludwigsen

I am the Elder of Finance and Administration. I handle most all of the legal and tax obligations of the church.  Making sure we are in compliance with state and federal law, as well as overseeing payroll and the church budget can be a challenge, but those are necessary so that we can continue with our great ministries.

Jo Salamanca

My name is Jobelia B. Salamanca I’ve been a member of MPC since the mid 90’s. I was a Ruling Elder for worship & music briefly but due to work schedule conflict, I wasn’t able to complete my term. I’m a retired nurse. I have no portfolio right now, but I’ll serve wherever the lord leads me.

Emerson Castillo

I am the Elder of Worship and Music.  Working with the Music Director and our team, we plan Sunday worship so that people can experience the Holy Spirit each and every Sunday.  Our church follows the church calendar so that throughout the year the congregation is led through both joy and grief as we worship through life's ups and downs together.
